About Lalita:
Lalita's journey from Reynosa, Mexico, to becoming a licensed acupuncturist in California is truly inspiring. Growing up in the countryside at La Palma, Michoacan, she developed a deep appreciation for Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) while assisting her father at his acupuncture clinic. Witnessing the transformative power of acupuncture sparked her passion for this ancient healing art and procuring the wellbeing of the small town community.
After relocating to the United States, Lalita pursued her education at South Texas College and the Texas College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, where she focused on pain management during her internship. Her commitment to learning led her to further her studies in California, where she earned her master's degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Herbology from the Academy of Chinese Culture and Health Science in Oakland.
Now a licensed acupuncturist in California, Lalita specializes in balance method acupuncture and distal acupuncture, utilizing her bilingual skills in English and Spanish to communicate with her patients. Her dedication to her profession is continued with her pursuit of certification as a National Diplomate of Oriental Medicine through the NCCAOM commission.
Outside of her practice, Lalita cherishes spending time with her family, including her two children and husband. She enjoys cooking vegetarian food with friends and family, dancing and road trips.
